Owner Virgilio del Mare serves meals against a backdrop of stained-glass windows, crystal chandeliers, and soft Italian music. A well-trained staff attends to the tables. The cinco peche (clams, mussels, scallops, oysters, and crayfish simmered in a saffron broth) is a delectable house special, and the lobster ravioli here is the best there is. Classic dishes are cooked with a distinctive flair -- the rack of lamb shank, for example, is filled with a porcini mushroom stuffing and glazed with a roasted garlic aioli. The marinated grilled duck is served chilled. You can even order an individual pesto pizza.
